The Southlake Carroll Dragons continue to get better each week as they took victory in a 49-0 shutout against Bell. Brock Boyd led the offense with 9 catches and 171 yards. The 3-star wideout continues to have an impressive season, catching 54 passes for 865 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The Huntington Beach Oilers’ winning streak has come to an end in a hard-fought offensive shootout against Crean Lutheran. 2027 Ohio State commit Brady Edmunds did his part, completing 15-28 passes for 281 yards and 3 touchdowns. Edmunds’ 2025 season has been superb, throwing for 2,344 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions.
The Mater Dei Monarchs bounced back with a 40-7 win over JSerra Catholic. Kayden Dixon-Wyatt played a key role in the win, catching 7 passes for 92 yards. Dixon-Wyatt has over 500 receiving yards on 34 catches and 4 touchdowns.
Chaminade-Madonna took home a win over Cardinal Gibbons to improve to 7-1. Ohio State commit Angelo Smith had a nice performance, converting 7 tackles, 1 pass deflection, and 1 fumble recovery. Smith improved his totals to 33 tackles and 5 passes deflected on the season. Angelo is the brother of Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith.
The Mission Viejo Diablos came out victorious in a 37-20 battle over Edison on Friday night. The Diablos improved to 8-1 on the season, and quarterback Luke Fahey had another nice performance. Fahey completed 23/33 passes for 374 yards and 2 touchdowns. Fahey improved his season totals to 2,539 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and 1 interception.
Bergen Catholic fell to St. Joseph Regional in a 43-42 shootout. Despite the lack of defense, Ohio State commit Jordan Thomas had a solid performance, converting 11 total tackles and 5 tackles for loss. Catholic falls to 6-2 on the season. Thomas improved his season totals to 45 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 1 fumble recovery.
