The future of Ohio State football is looking bright as members of the Buckeyes recruiting classes took the field under the Friday night lights.
2027 4-star quarterback Brady Edmunds and Huntington Beach bounced back this week after the loss to Trabuco Hills. Edmunds lit it up, passing for 351 yards and 5 total touchdowns. Edmunds is a top 100 player in the class of 2027.
2026 3-star quarterback Luke Fahey is having an electric start to his senior season. Fahey led the Mission Viejo Diablos (CA) to a big win over the Folsom Bulldogs (CA), passing for 326 yards, 5 touchdowns, and a completion percentage of 68%.
Fort Wayne Northrop (IN) senior wide receiver Jerquaden Guilford lead the Bruins to a big win Friday night. Guilford caught just one pass for 37 yards, but it was his play in the run game that stood out. Guilford carried the ball 5 times for a total of 70 yards and two touchdowns. Guilford is ranked as the No. 2 wide receiver in the state of Indiana.
Southlake Carroll (TX) matched up against Hebron on Friday. 3-star wide receiver Brock Boyd caught 5 passes for 70 yards and one touchdown. The Ohio State commit is a top 100 wide receiver in the state of Texas.
The St. Augustine Yellow Jackets took on the Bolles Bulldogs in a high-scoring matchup on Friday. St. Augustine prevailed, winning 40-35, but Ohio State commit Simeon Caldwell put on a great performance, racking up 11 tackles in the loss.
3-star defensive lineman Jamir Perez did not suit up for the Glenville Tarblooders (OH) on Friday night due to a high ankle sprain, Sports On Tap reported on X.
Delaware Hayes (OH) running back Favour Akih was also out as he continues to battle an ankle injury he sustained in week one.
