The Washington Huskies look to continue their reign of terror at Husky Stadium. For UC Davis, it’s not just about keeping it close—it’s about proving that FCS teams can crash an FBS party, especially when they bring a mobile quarterback with nerves of steel and nothing to lose.
A classic clash of power vs. potential, this game will either cement Washington’s status as a team on the rise—or make a few Huskies fans sweat into their purple polos.
Offensive:
RB Jonah Coleman – He hits holes like a semi-truck in a hurry, and his Week 1 performance made it clear he’s going to be a problem for defenses all year. If UC Davis doesn’t wrap up, expect Coleman to rack up more frequent flyer miles.
Defensive:
Makell Esteen, CB – Esteen had the game-turning interception against CSU, and he’ll be counted on to keep the Aggies’ deep shots grounded.
Offensive:
QB Caden Pinnick – Mobile, efficient, and as fearless as a kid asking to go for it on 4th and 10 in Madden. Pinnick’s dual-threat ability and poise under pressure are why UC Davis believes this game isn’t just a paycheck.
Defensive:
Rex & Porter Connors, Safeties – Identical twins who fly around the field like caffeinated linebackers with PhDs in anticipation. If UC Davis pulls the upset, the Connors bros will be trending on your feed.
Washington enters as the clear favorite, wielding a balanced, explosive offense. Their home-field advantage and home win streak (now 21 games) with their main plug being one of college football’s best RBs Jonah Coleman.
However, UC Davis, as the No. 8 preseason FCS team, brings Pinnick’s dual-threat ability, coupled with a crafty RPO system and stern defense. Discipline and containment will be critical for the Huskies.
Predicted Edge: Washington cruises to another home victory. Expect them to control tempo and exploit mismatches—but don’t count the Aggies out if Pinnick stays unrattled and the Connors brothers impose their will up front.
34-0 was the result, but even the shutout score doesn’t paint the full picture of this dominating performance. The Badgers (2-5, 0-4) only had 144 total yards on offense for the game. For comparison, Ohio State QB Julian Sayin had 169 yards passing in the first quarter alone. The No. 1 Buckeyes (7-0, 4-0) came […]

The No. 8 Oregon Ducks (5-1, 2-1) travel to face the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (3-3, 0-3) in an important game for the Ducks. Last week, the Ducks’ wings were clipped by the Indiana Hoosiers, causing them to drop from No. 3 to No. 8 in the country.
