No. 6 Oregon didn’t just beat Oklahoma State — the 69–3 annihilation marked the most humiliating defeat of Mike Gundy’s 20-year career.
Dante Moore treated OSU’s defense like a walkthrough drill, throwing for 266 yards and 3 effortless touchdowns. Oklahoma State wanted more, so Dan Lanning delivered: Dakorien Moore, a true freshman, casually torched them with a 65-yard touchdown catch, then followed it up with a rushing score.
“He’s a man, he’s 18, Coach Gundy.”
Oregon’s offense racked up 631 total yards and spread touchdowns across 10 different players. At one point, it felt like the Ducks were just pulling names out of a hat to score on the Cowboys.
The defense? Just as savage — holding OSU to 211 total yards and scoring two pick-sixes in the third quarter (shoutout Jerry Mixon and Peyton Woodyard). Have the Ducks officially replaced Marlboro as the new Cowboy killer?
No. 12 Illinois went down to Durham; they were lookin’ for a win to steal. They were ranked up high and ridin’ fast. They came across the Blue Devils, tryin’ to rise up on their home field. But, Bret Bielema said, “Devils let me show you what,” and the Illini sealed the deal.
QB Luke Altmyer grinned, then lit that scoreboard, Throwin’ darts and runnin’ wild, Duke just couldn’t call their bluff. Hank Beatty danced through tackles. The Devils played hard for a half, but five Duke turnovers later, Illinois had claimed a dub. With sacks, picks, and smashmouth plays, the Illini silenced a Devils crowd.
Final: Illinois 45, Duke 19
Hold your hearts and pinch your farts — Michigan State survived a wild Saturday night thriller, beating Boston College in double overtime.
QB Aiden Chiles threw for 231 yards, 4 TDs, added another on the ground, and delivered the game-winning 2-point conversion to Omari Kelly.
Final: Michigan State 42, Boston College 40 (2OT)
No. 15 Michigan walked into its matchup with No. 18 Oklahoma high on hype — and walked out exposed and embarrassed.
All the talk about toughness, discipline, and Big Ten dominance? Gone. Oklahoma didn’t just beat Michigan — they dismantled them.
QB Bryce Underwood, overhyped as the one-game Heisman, played like a true freshman: 9 of 24 for 142 yards. Michigan was shut out in the first half, and even as the Sooners gave them chances, they couldn’t capitalize.
Harbaugh’s vaunted system collapsed. The offensive line? Manhandled. The defense? Gave up 408 yards like they were handing out free Powerball tickets.
This wasn’t a loss. It was a reality check. Michigan talks like a powerhouse but got folded like a lawn chair at a Wolverines tailgate.
Final: Oklahoma 24, Michigan 13
Another Cy-Hawk Trophy gone, another offensive black hole for Iowa.
If punts were points, the Hawkeyes would be playoff-bound. But in this universe, touchdowns still matter — and Iowa continues to avoid them.
Their game plan?
At least Connor Stallions can’t spy an offense that doesn’t exist.
Meanwhile, Rocco Becht led Iowa State on a 55-yard, clock-chewing drive, setting up Kyle Konrardy’s 54-yard game-winner.
Final: Iowa State 16, Iowa 13
UCLA came out flatter than a boy band reunion against UNLV.
A late 20-point surge couldn’t undo their first-half slopfest — with stalled drives and a defense as real as Bigfoot.
They showed up… eventually. But they’re still 0-2.
Final: UNLV 30, UCLA 23
QB Julian Sayin set an Ohio State record with 16 straight completions, finishing 18-of-19 for 306 yards and 4 touchdowns. WR Jeremiah Smith had an 87-yard TD — second longest in school history. Freshman LB Pettijohn added a scoop-and-score, and Bo Jackson ran for 108 yards and a TD.
Final: Ohio State 70, Grambling 0
Penn State started slow but rolled Florida International with Drew Allar’s 200-yard, 2-TD day and 144 rushing yards from Kaytron Allen. The defense pitched a shutout and added a turnover.
Final: Penn State 38, FIU 0
QB Fernando Medoza went 18 of 25 with 4 touchdowns, 3 of them to Elijah Sarratt. WR Omar Cooper Jr. added a 75-yard end-around score.
Final: Indiana 56, Kennesaw State 9
Northwestern QB Preston Stone threw for 245 yards and 3 touchdowns, and RB Cam Porter added 91 yards and a score. Western Illinois collects another Big Ten payday.
Final: Northwestern 42, Western Illinois 7
Freshman QB Malik Washington threw for 254 yards and 2 touchdowns, but Maryland’s run defense allowed 180 rushing yards — more than double their own ground total.
Final: Maryland 20, Northern Illinois 9
Minnesota scored 59 first-half points — 2 passing, 5 rushing, and 2 defensive touchdowns. Grant Washington ran for 126 yards on 20 carries, giving Darius Taylor a break after last week’s heavy workload. They scored so many points, they ran out of fireworks.
Final: Minnesota 66, Northwestern State 0
Wisconsin led just 14-10 before closing strong, outscoring Middle Tennessee 28-0 over the last 22 minutes. QB Danny O’Neil went 23 of 27 for 283 yards and 3 touchdowns. Could starter Billy Edwards Jr. return next week vs Alabama?
Final: Wisconsin 42, Middle Tennessee 10
Nebraska racked up 728 total yards — the most by the Cornhuskers since 2014. QB Dylan Raiola threw for 364 yards and 4 TDs, and RB Emmett Johnson added 140 rushing yards and 3 scores. Raiola also set a school record with 20 straight completions.
Final: Nebraska 68, Akron 0
QB Jayden Maiava passed for 412 yards and 4 touchdowns, with Makai Lemon hauling in two. RB Waymond Jordan added 167 yards on the ground. USC begins Big Ten play next week vs Purdue.
Final: USC 59, Georgia Southern 20
RB Jonah Coleman carried 15 times for 111 yards and 5 touchdowns, averaging 7 yards per carry. Can anyone slow him down? Washington rolled past UC Davis with a dominant performance on both sides of the ball, jumping out to a 28-0 lead by halftime. The defense forced three turnovers, and the Huskies never let the Aggies get comfortable.
Final: Washington 70, UC Davis 10
Purdue doubles its win total from last year — in just its first two games, no less. But maybe don’t let them look at the schedule for the next three weeks.
Despite trailing 14–7 against FCS opponent Southern Illinois, Purdue managed to “boiler up” for the rest of the game. Running back Devin Mockobee rushed for 126 yards and was the spark that got the engine revving, scoring 2 touchdowns.
Purdue 34 Southern Illinois 17
34-0 was the result, but even the shutout score doesn’t paint the full picture of this dominating performance. The Badgers (2-5, 0-4) only had 144 total yards on offense for the game. For comparison, Ohio State QB Julian Sayin had 169 yards passing in the first quarter alone. The No. 1 Buckeyes (7-0, 4-0) came […]

The No. 8 Oregon Ducks (5-1, 2-1) travel to face the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (3-3, 0-3) in an important game for the Ducks. Last week, the Ducks’ wings were clipped by the Indiana Hoosiers, causing them to drop from No. 3 to No. 8 in the country.
