Football is fun again in Waco, TX. The Baylor Bears are 2-2 on the season, with the two losses by a combined 17 points. Fans of the green and gold flock to banks of the Brazos River on Saturdays to watch the pigskin get thrown around the yard by the best gunslinger in college football.
With prototypical NFL size (6-foot-4, 220 pounds) and a cannon for a right arm, Baylor quarterback Sawyer Robertson has solidified his spot at the top of the QB1 mountain.
Through four games, Robertson has thrown for 1,320 yards, 13 TDs and only three INTs. He leads the nation and the Big 12 Conference in passing yards, passing touchdowns and passing yards per game.
A senior from Lubbock, TX, Robertson leads a Bears offense that averages 34 points per game and ranks No. 7 in passing offense nationally.
While he has completed 62.6 percent of his passes, he also has thrown three or more passing TDs in every game this season.
As a result of his stellar start to the 2025 season, Robertson has been named a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, an award presented by the National Football Foundation. The award honors the best scholar-athletes in college football for their academic prowess, performance on the football field and leadership qualities.
In addition, Robertson was named the National Player of the Week after throwing for 440 yards, four TDs and zero INTs (in 50 pass attempts) in a 48-45 win over SMU.
Robertson and the Bears travel to Oklahoma State on Saturday to take on a Cowboys team that is in upheaval after the firing this week of long-time head coach Mike Gundy.
Last season against OSU, Robertson accounted for four touchdowns in a 38-28 victory.
Robertson and the Bears are a 20.5-point favorite in Stillwater.

The Red Raiders are ranked among the top ten in the initial college football playoff rankings.

Another week of Big 12 Conference football is in the books. Week 10 was marked as a key week for the conference, and it did not disappoint.

There is no other way to describe the Big 12 Conference race than chaos. There are currently five ranked Big 12 schools, and some of them have to face each other before the season ends. BYU gets a pass this week with a bye, but other Big 12 leaders like Texas Tech, Utah, Cincinnati, and Houston will all be in action.
