2026 4-star EDGE Dre Quinn has committed to Ohio State. Quinn was previously committed to Clemson.
Quinn currently attends Buford High School, a powerhouse that has seen a long line of Division 1 athletes, including Ohio State defensive lineman Eddrick Houston. Quinn finished his junior season with 22 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. Quinn is a versatile defensive player, receiving snaps at multiple positions and even getting time on offense.
Quinn decommitted from the Clemson Tigers on September 25th and was quickly given a crystal ball prediction to commit to the Texas Longhorns. Now 10-0, the Buckeyes’ recent success was enough to put Ohio State in the driver’s seat of this recruitment. Quinn, the 26th recruit to choose the Buckeyes, ranks 35th at his position.
Larry Johnson has been a well-respected defensive line coach by fans, players, and colleagues alike. Johnson began his career with the Penn State Nittany Lions in 1996 and joined the Buckeyes staff in 2014. Since then, Johnson has garnered an impressive reputation for sending his players to the NFL.
A long list of talent, Johnson’s draft picks include JT Tuimoloau, Jack Sawyer, Tyliek Williams, and the Bosa brothers. With nearly 30 years of experience, Larry Johnson has etched himself in college football royalty, and recruits will continue to choose the Buckeyes as long as he is in Columbus.
