2026 3-star safety Khmari Bing has committed to Ohio State, according to ON3 Insider Hayes Fawcett. Bing was previously committed to Maryland and held offers from 17 other schools, including Alabama, Auburn, and Miami. Bing attends St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland.
Khmari Bing is the third commitment for Matt Guerrieri and the Buckeyes’ safety room in the 2026 class. Bing joins Blaine Bradford and Simeon Caldwell. Bing also has experience at cornerback.
Matt Guerrieri was first brought on to the Buckeyes staff in 2022 in an advisory role after spending time with the Duke Blue Devils. Guerrieri had worked with former Ohio State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles for six seasons at Duke. Guerrieri was then promoted to safeties coach in 2024, and the move has paid off for the scarlet and gray defense.
Coach Guerrieri has the Buckeyes’ safeties playing at an impressive level this season. Jaylen McClain rightfully earned a starting spot alongside Caleb Downs this season after the departure of Lathan Ransom. McClain has thrived in the role and continues to show promise in all aspects. Caleb Downs has continued his usual display of dominance, proving himself as one of the top prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Three […]
